The KidiBuzz 3 was a mobile phone that ran a restricted version of Android, limited to only approved apps and games that VTech greenlit for the device.
Features[]
Since this is designed to be as close to the experience of a real Android phone, but with many features of Android limited for the end user, it will have less available compared to a typical phone of the time. An example of this is how instead of using the Google Play Store, it has it's own online store known as the Learning Lodge. You are also unable to install APK files onto the system unless you mod the device in someway to bypass it's restrictions.
Along with it's camera, it also has a MagLens which is used to help with close-up macro shots. Both are located next to each other on a separate piece that can be rotated freely for different positions.
Registering[]
Registering the device will let you access all the built in apps and games of the phone, along with giving you access to two free apps from the Learning Lodge online store when the device originally released.
Battery[]
The device charges via a micro-USB cable (aka OTG cable) located on the right side of the phone. The USB power adapter used for charging in the wall outputs DC 5v.
The charging light located at the lower right corner will turn red to indicate it is charging, and will turn green when charging is complete which usually happens in around 3.5 hours.
Security[]
The phone features gesture unlock, and a 3D effect lock screen.
